Trillium Health Partners is prepared
Trillium Health Partners (THP) is not one of the 10 Ontario hospitals designated to treat confirmed cases of EVD.
While there are no confirmed cases of EVD in Canada and the risk to Canadians remains low, THP is approaching this situation with a high degree of preparedness to ensure the safety of staff, patients and families.
We have sophisticated infection control systems, procedures and training in place designed to protect health care workers, limit the spread of infection and provide the best care to our patients.
We are closely following the direction established through Region of Peel Public Health, Public Health Ontario, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Centres for Disease Control and the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure that we are following the appropriate guidelines.
