Located at the Trillium Health Partners Queensway Health Centre in Etobicoke, the McCall Centre for Continuing Care provides specialized care for patients who require complex continuing care. We focus on providing skilled nursing and medical supervision with empathy, respect, and dignity. Our goal is to provide high-quality care, recognizing each patient’s dignity and unique needs. We encourage collaboration with patients’ families, significant others and friends to ensure active participation in care decisions.
Health Care Services
Our team includes nurses, physicians, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, therapy assistants, speech language pathologists, pharmacists, chaplains, recreation staff, patient support workers and discharge planners. Each unit is supported by physicians who coordinate care with the team, with a physician available 24/7 for support, and local healthcare providers such as dentists, chiropodists and optometrists to ensure comprehensive care.
Together, with patients and families, we create personalized care plans and regularly assess patients to adjust care as needed. When health stabilizes, we will transition patients to different levels of care.
Support Services
We offer a variety of support services to enhance the quality of life for patients. Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance teams maintain a clean and safe environment with care and respect.
Volunteers support patients in activities and offer companionship, while ensuring patient confidentiality and safety through comprehensive volunteer training.
