Eating Disorders Program

The Eating Disorders Program is a Provincial program offering inpatient, daypatient, transition and outpatient treatment to individuals who are directly affected by an eating disorder.

The inter-professional clinical team serves. Support is also available for family members and significant others.

Clients’ readiness for change, coupled with the severity and nature of their illness, will determine the type of treatment. The three essential components of treatment are: nutritional rehabilitation, skills acquisition and psychotherapy. Clients participate in a wide variety of groups including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Nutrition, and Mindfulness and Relaxation.
