History Made. Together.

In 2025–26, the Trillium Health Partners Foundation reached an extraordinary new milestone, raising an unprecedented $87 million - the most successful year in our history, and a powerful testament to what this community makes possible. This includes $67.5 million in cash donations and $19.6 million in future commitments from donors who believe, deeply, in the power of world-class health care, close to home.

This remarkable achievement was built gift by gift - 127,643 of them - and fuelled by the passion of a community that shows up in a myriad of ways, including through more than 100 community initiatives that raised an additional $1.3 million.

The generosity of our donors transforms lives - through advanced equipment, expanded programs, and the expertise of world-class clinical teams. That impact is felt every day across the Mississauga Hospital, the Credit Valley Hospital, and the Queensway Health Centre - because of the community that makes it possible.

And it is propelling us forward. With each gift, we move closer to a once-in-a-generation transformation: the opening of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children and the redevelopment of the future home of The Gilgan Family Queensway Health Centre - a future that donors like you are making real.

Growing Fast. Building Faster.

Our region is one of the fastest growing in Ontario - and the pace is accelerating.

By 2041, more than 3.2 million people will call this community home, nearly one million more than today. That growth will usher in an urgent and unprecedented demand for care - one that will only intensify as our population ages and gaps in access for underserved communities continue to grow.

Every gift is helping build the spaces, technology, and capacity needed to deliver world-class care - not just for the community we serve today - but for the millions who will depend on us in the years ahead. The future of health care in this region is being shaped right now because of the generosity of donors.

Profound Generosity. At Work.

Donor support is driving transformation across Trillium Health Partners in ways that will be felt for decades.

Your generosity is making possible:

  • The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital - at the heart of the largest infrastructure redevelopment project in Canadian history will be the largest hospital in Canada
  • Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children - Ontario's first hospital dedicated exclusively to women's and children's health
  • The Gilgan Family Queensway Health Centre - a major expansion into a centre of excellence for rehabilitation and complex continuing care
  • Advanced diagnostic technology through the Cator Family Diagnostic Imaging Program - improving accuracy, reducing wait times, and raising the standard of care
  • The Institute for Better Health - where donor-funded research is generating real solutions for a healthier community

Visionary Giving. Lasting Legacy.

In May 2025, philanthropists Sarita and Suresh Madan made a gift that could change the way health care is delivered - not just in Mississauga, but across Canada and beyond.

Their extraordinary donation established the Sarita and Suresh Madan AI Acceleration Fund, the inaugural gift to Trillium Health Partners' AI for Better Health initiative.

The Fund is empowering clinicians, researchers, and care teams to develop and deploy AI tools that tackle health care's most complex challenges - from streamlining hospital discharges, cutting wait times to reshaping how diabetes is prevented and managed.

The Madans’ leadership gift is the spark behind a $25 million fundraising goal and a defining moment for Trillium Health Partners' vision of care that is smarter, faster, and deeply human.

That same spirit of generosity was echoed in an equally profound way.

An anonymous former patient and lifelong Mississauga resident made a transformational $6.6 million legacy gift to Trillium Health Partners through their will.

Moved by the care they received, this remarkable individual chose to pay it forward in a most impactful way - ensuring that future patients will have access to the same exceptional care and healing that once made a difference in their own life.

Shared Purpose. Meaningful Impact.

We are deeply grateful to the remarkable individuals and families whose leadership gifts of $1 million or more are shaping the future of health care at Trillium Health Partners - and ensuring that exceptional care remains within reach for every patient we serve:
