Cancer services are currently being offered at the Credit Valley Hospital and the Queensway Health Centre. We partner with our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to help improve the experiences of all patients and caregivers in the Cancer Centres.
About the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at the Credit Valley Hospital
Opened in 2005, the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre is one of 13 regional cancer centres in Ontario. The Centre offers services for diagnosis and specialized treatment for cancer. We partner with you, your family and friends to provide the highest-quality care. We know that living with cancer can be hard. That is why we are here to help meet your physical, emotional, social, spiritual and practical needs along the cancer continuum.
About The Betty and Buster Lockwood Cancer Detection and Treatment Centre at the Queensway Health Centre
As of March 21, select outpatient oncology services, including some clinics and some chemotherapy services, are being provided at the
Queensway Health Centre as part of Trillium Health Partners’ (THP) Integrated Oncology Program.
THP temporarily moved all oncology services to the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at Credit Valley Hospital in April 2020 as part of our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to provide cancer services at the Credit Valley Hospital as we return care to the Queensway Health Centre to help ensure we are able to provide patients with high quality, timely, and accessible care as close to home as possible. With the resumption of chemotherapy and other oncology services as the Queensway Health Centre, we will continue to offer radiation, chemotherapy, and other oncology services at the Credit Valley Hospital.

- Dedicated oncology inpatient beds
- Complex Malignant Hematology (Day +1 Autologous Stem Cell Transfers)
